About This Project

In May 2018, AMR was contracted by the Afghanistan Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AWCCI) to prepare a concept paper on the Made by Afghan Women (MBAW) labelling initiative. The document provided background information on labelling initiates in various sectors, and proposed a system of certifying women-made products in Afghanistan.
